Painting with bold colour and geometric form

I make paintings with bold colour and geometric forms. My studio work investigates how yellow and red interact with structure, spatial tension, and harmony, and I want the work to be seen clearly, without too much around it.

My practice balances meticulous structure with chromatic intensity. Across canvas and architectural surfaces, I keep returning to the same questions about how form, colour, and space hold each other in place.

Biography

A grounded studio practice

Rebeka Abdagic works as a painter, developing a studio practice rooted in structured composition and deliberate colour. Her work has been shaped by an ongoing exploration of geometric abstraction, with each painting built from careful decisions about proportion, edge, and the balance between calm fields and sharp chromatic accents.

Over time, the studio has moved between canvas and architectural surfaces, extending the same vocabulary of form into new spatial contexts. Exhibitions and projects are documented on this site, with verified details listed separately so that the record stays accurate.

Looking at a painting clearly means giving it room, so that colour and form can do their work without distraction.— Rebeka Abdagic
